It was a quiet night out in the Milia, the sky darker than any dark type Andre had seen so far. Complete with a fresh batch of light rain showers. Many would've been deterred from coming out in the wilds with such weather, but the rain did little to stop the Poacher from venturing out on his own time. In fact he quite liked the rain, having adapted to much harsher drizzles than what the heavens of the Milia were currently weeping down on the route soil. The tall man was going out for a walk, trying to unwind after a day of running errands in Piscari. No grand criminal activities to speak of, no poaching, just some mundane tasks and deliveries that needed doing. It was boring work but Andre made do since there were plenty of worse jobs within the community he could've been stuck with. As one of many under the Boss's thumb, Andre counted his blessings that he hadn't been forced into anything too dangerous so far. Still, the bruiser of a man couldn't help but feel hungry for a bit more excitement tonight.

"You thinkin what I'm thinkin Sherry?" Andre asked his small canine companion, who also appeared relatively unphased by the rain. The Electrike looked up to her trainer and let out a single bark and a shake of her head."I was thinking maybe we can go to that fancy battle Cafe they got out in tourist town some time, get some grub and maybe get you a bit of training in. Bark once if you want in. Twice if you're a stick in the mud." Andre said with a snicker, licking his lips at the idea of a meal that wasn't just Magikarp or some type of seafood. The electric type rolled her eyes at his owner. Having long since gotten used to his antics, she didn't let him get a rise out of her. The canine simply barked once in agreement.

"Sweet. Looks like we got something to do on our day off then... Though that does raise the question... What should we do now...?" Andre asked himself, looking around as he considered his options. The Poacher didn't want to go back home just yet, since he spent much of his time there anyway. But there didn't look to be many things of interest going on out in the area at the moment. In truth it was quite boring, so boring in fact that Andre started picking up some small rocks along the route and walked over to one of the Milia's many beaches to skip some stones and kill time. The man hummed a tune as he tossed a rock at the ocean, this one skidding three times along the surface before sinking. Meanwhile Sherry decided to start digging holes around the beach to entertain herself. Andre doubted he'd see anyone out here, but nothing was ever certain in this world. Perhaps fate would throw them a bone and have some unfortunate tourist tumble by or something. That in itself would suit the poacher just fine in some entertainment. But for now the man in shades simply made do by skipping rocks out in the ocean, keeping his eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary.

It had been a long, infuriating day. It had started out promising, Madame Seviper coming to her and Kalea with a job--she had been getting bored and was ready to crack open a few skulls--but, then it turned out to be a more "delicate" mission. Meaning, Kalea ran point. The woman had no real issues with that, she really like and respected the water specialist, but it meant lots of talking and not a lot of action. When asked why she was going with her, the response at first was because I said so. This was fair, seeing that Madame Seviper was her Captain, but the voodoo priestess took pity on Mi Jin and elaborated. Apparently, the possibility for trouble wasn't completely out of the picture and she wanted Kalea to have the back up. The caution was not needed. Instead, she spent the afternoon tolerating being hit on by a drunk sleazebag while her younger crew member manipulated his boss. The only satisfying portion of the whole thing had been at the end when she found the opportunity to break his nose 'accidentally.'

Once they'd returned to the ship, her restlessness started driving everyone a little crazy. It didn't take Captain long to tell her to go 'work it out.' Mi Jin was gleefully about to return to Piscari to see if she could finish what she started with his nose, but then Madame Seviper dashed her hopes by telling to blow off steam on the Milia. So, here she was, drifting on her back on the gentle ocean waves. The water was quite brisk and the air cool as fall slipped into winter, but it was invigorating and she'd discovered a long time ago she had a higher tolerance for the cold. Joeng was somewhere near, slowly circling her under the water to keep away any curious Pokemon, while Su-Bin was safely tucked in her Pokeball. Her attention was brought from the clouds by a noise on the water. With it being night and the cloud cover fairly thick, it was difficult to make much. She silently righted herself in the water, treading it with ease as she watched toward the shore. The coverage shifted overhead, allowing the moon to get some of its light through a thinner layer of cloud. She sunk further into the ocean, only her head from her nose up above the surface when she spotted a form walking the beach. A moment later, a rock skipped near her several times before sinking.

The specialist watched and waited for another stone, ready to sink below the surface to grab it. Once she had it she snapped her fingers under the water, the vibration of sound alerting Jeong to her need of him. The dragon brought his body under her, letting her straddle just behind his head and lifted her up just enough that her shoulders cleared the salty water, but the rest of both of them remained concealed under the waves. Mi Jin gripped a thick dreadlock of his hair in one hand for balance while she threw the rock back at the shore with the other, a mischievous smile on her lips.

Several tosses later, the Poacher was starting to get bored again. Skipping stones was a brief respite in passing the time, but it was only really fun when you had others to compete with. The blond found himself losing focus, his throws getting less controlled none of them went past three skips. Still no sign of anyone or anything either. Perhaps Andre could use this time to start some improvised drills with his canine companion. Not long after Andre considered those thoughts he felt a nudge on his leg. The criminal looked down to see that Sherry had something shiny in her mouth, likely to have been found while digging around at the beach. Andre extended his hand for the electric type to drop the item on his palm, as he took a moment to appraise the shiny object. Not surprisingly it wasn't anything particularly valuable. Just a bottle cap glinting from what moonlight was shed upon them.

Andre was about to chastise Sherry for picking up garbage when one of his thrown rocks came back pelting Sherry and knocked her off her feet. She gave a loud yelp as she went skidding to the sandy floor from the surprise sneak attack. Andre quickly ran to Sherry's side, kneeling down and shaking his canine companion, loudly calling her name trying to see if she was ok. Sherry whined for a couple of moments before shaking off the pain the stone had caused her. She perked up and gave a grunt, signaling that she was alright and wormed her way out of Andre's grip to investigate the rock that was thrown nearby. The electric type pawed at the stone, then gave it a good whiff to try and identify what could have caused the rock to come back. There was the scent of sea water, rain, her own human's fading scent... And another human's scent! The Electrike snapped to attention out towards the waves of ocean, growling angrily at how some unknown human had messed with the wrong pup.

Andre meanwhile was a few steps behind his green companion, his eyes alert and laced with suspicion as he looked out in the ocean to see if there were any wild Pokemon looking for a fight. Whatever it was, it was certainly going to pay for hurting his Pokemon. The grunt then turned his attention to Sherry who's growling only grew louder, the canine looking as though she were going to start a loud bark fest any second. While the blond couldn't blame her and shared the sentiment, he still had little idea of what they were dealing with aside from some wild Pokemon. And in his line of work unknown factors could spell more trouble than what it was worth. What could be one wild Pokemon had the potential to become two, three, seven or ten for all the man knew. What if it was something more than just a stray Tentacool waiting for them to go into the water for an ambush? No, Andre couldn't take the chance. "Easy Sherry. I know you're pissed but let's not jump the gun just yet. We don't know what's out there." Andre whispered to his Pokemon after he walked in front of the green canine. The grunt kneeled down and tried to convince her to calm down. It took a bit of time and the electric type was reluctant to let go, but she eventually obeyed and bit back her rage.

"That's a good girl." Andre said quietly, patting her on the head as he thought about what to do next. On one hand, he could go all out. Shout every swear and insult he could think of into the ocean with hopes of startling their mysterious audience into running away. However the lingering threat of having something more than what the duo could chew on still left a bad impression on the poacher. He could also toss more stones out there while swearing. It would likely increase his chances of scaring off whatever was out there to scram, maybe he could even get Sherry to shock whatever was out there for good measure. It'd certainly feel good if they managed to hit something, but they might very well end up attracting even more angry wild Pokemon from the sea if they did that. The gears in the criminal's mind were grinding at full force to figure out a plan, and after about a minute he hatched a terrible idea that could yield more entertainment than either of the previous solutions.

"What was that anyway...?" Andre asked out loud as he plucked Sherry up with one protective arm and looked out into the ocean, taking another moment to look for any signs of life. With his shade dimmed vision however he wasn't able to discern much. Soon after the grunt gave up on searching and let the confidence and anger in his face drain. "Aw man... I didn't think there'd be anything else out here... So much for some peace and quiet... This... Could be bad... I don't like this Sherry..." Andre spat out nervously as he started to back away, hunching his back to look smaller and clutching his canine companion with both arms now as he appeared rather afraid. Then the poacher stumbled and fell back on his bum, his body starting to shake as he appeared even more panicked. "H-Hello...? W-Who's out there...?" Andre called out in the most wimpy and weak voice he could muster. The criminal waited a few seconds for dramatic effect before starting to scramble further away from the tides, lowering his head to conceal the absolute biggest shit eating grin on his face. It took a considerable amount of willpower not to feel disdain at himself in his acting and laugh out loud at the absurdity of his idea. Yet it was a fun gamble he thought he could pull off in emulating what a weakling he hated would do. It was all part of his plan to lure in whatever was out there, a facade to get their prey to lower their guard and come closer with the bait of an easy mark. Once he knew what they were dealing with he would decide whether or not to pull a fast one and strong arm the prey that dared hurt his partner or consider his options more wisely in recognizing a sizable threat. The poacher waited patiently, still backing away every couple of seconds and mumbling incoherently to make it harder for whatever was out there to see them--stealing a brief glance every once in awhile to check and see if it worked.

Sherry couldn't believe that her human was attempting something so dumb. No way this act was going to work. What was her human thinking? They could've easily brought the fight over and scared off any potential threat together. What her human was attempting was risky and left them wide open for any actual attack. So dumb. Then again her human had that look again. One that wanted to draw things out and make the other human out there regret messing with him. The canine kept alert, staring out into the ocean for any movement and mentally preparing herself for a fight. At the very least now they would have something to take out their boredom on, and if they were lucky she could get some good exercise in giving the other human a piece of her mind.

Mi Jin flinched when she heard the unmistakable yelp of a Pokemon. Well, hell, she hadn't meant to hurt anything and she certainly didn't think she'd thrown it that hard. The sound was muffled under the water, but loud enough that Jeong raised his head through the surface. They both listened as the man called the Pokemon's name and were relieved when it seemed they were okay. She was a pirate, but that didn't make her needlessly harmful and cruel. The Drampa turned his head, casting a pink glance to Mi Jin who folded her arms defensively. "I didn't do it on purpose." She hissed, keeping her voice just loud enough for her dragon to hear.

Things had gone quiet on the beach, the subtler sounds hard to hear over the constant movement of the ocean around them. When the man did speak up again, he sounded...worried? Mi Jin turned her head so her ear was facing the shore, but so she could still watch the silhouette on the sand. She quirked a brow as the man fell back and practically started cowering at the possibilities of what was lurking out here. Well, he should be scared. There was a pirate out here with a dragon. The whole display was rather pathetic, perhaps he would be easy pickings. Once of those schmucks that threw their wallet onto the ground as they fled. The specialist glanced down at herself--she wasn't exactly awe inspiring with her strip of cloth tied around her chest and her makeshift sarong over her bottoms. She didn't even have her sword--she had a couple of knives, of course, but still. Her eyes drifted to Jeong. She did have a freaking dragon.

Mind made up, the woman gave a little squeeze with her knees, indicating to Jeong she wanted him to swim forward. The Drampa dipped his head back under the water and worked his powerful muscles to send them through the water. As they got closer and she would be easier to spot, the petite woman stood, balancing on the Pokemon's shoulders. Mi Jin was petite, with a delicate bone structure and lithe muscles. Her hair was pulled back and up, held in place with a silver hair comb shaped like a dragon type's grasping claws. The wet fabric secured about her waist flapped with a gust of wind. "You shouldn't throw things into the abyss. No telling what you'll wake up." As if on cue, Jeong raised his head from the water and gave a powerful swish of his tail, water surging against the surf and splashing the sand as he slid into the shallows.

As the seconds ticked by Andre started to feel as though the plan wasn't working. A thorn of doubt weeded it's way into the criminal's determination. After all what kind of wild Pokemon would just expose itself like that? Granted one could never be certain, but the wait was slowly chipping away at his certainty in this scheme. Perhaps he was underestimating the intelligence of the wild life and they wouldn't rise to the bait. The poacher was about to call it in and move along when the duo noticed movement from the ocean. Neither of them moved a muscle, watching carefully until they both saw a rather petite woman who was already making a rather unpleasant impression on the grunt. Andre internally scoffed at her comments on her trying to be intimidating. She probably would've incited more fear if she were armed, but as far as the criminal knew she was just some short stack who looked to be some type of swimmer. One he assumed would be a water type trainer given how common they were around here. An easy enough mark with his greater bulk and Sherry having the type advantage. He felt confident he could take her on and relieve her of what possessions she had, maybe bury everything up to her head in the sand and watch her scream as the tide came in for laughs if she proved to be difficult.

That opinion changed when a freaking dragon emerged from the tides, one that the girl was riding at the moment. Andre stayed where he was, looking at them clearly with a look of surprise and disbelief. Of all the types of Pokemon this runt had it just had to be a dragon. One that he couldn't immediately identify from what he knew of the type, but a dragon was still a dragon. Perhaps this would be more interesting than he thought. The idea of poaching some dragons in for a quick buck, or better yet offer them as a gift to the Boss sent shivers down the poacher's spine. Andre masked his current feelings of excitement for the hunt as he continued to just stare at the pirate and dragon with apprehensive scripted cowardice. Still, something about them seemed off. The grunt's sense for danger was going off in the back of his mind, and not just because this chick had a dragon. There was something about the dragon tamer that stuck out and rang a few bells he couldn't quite identify at this moment in time -- not until he got a closer look at her anyway. The poacher would think more on it, but for now he needed to play his part. The criminal tried to shift his body language to make himself appear more defensive and feeble, though his size would make it more difficult to make his act more believable now that his target could see him.

"I-I didn't think anything would be out there at this time of night lady. I j-just came out here to chill! W-Were you the one who threw back my rock?" Andre answered as he tried not to make eye contact. Sherry on the other hand was leering at the both of them the entire time, having no desire to play along with her owner's antics. She didn't care what they were capable of. They hurt her, so now she wanted to hurt them. It took considerable effort on Andre's part to keep his canine companion from leaping out of his arms and attacking them. All the while the Electrike was growling menacingly at the dragon and pirate. "Y-You've made my P-Pokemon mighty u-upset i-if you did throw the rock b-back. I-I think you owe her an apology m-ma'am. I-I'd r-rather not cause any m-more problems and not be able to stop her fr-from...." The grunt trailed off before Sherry started to angrily bark at the duo, shouting every insult she could think of in her native tongue and rebuking them for interrupting their quality time together. The Electrike looked more angry than a swarm of Beedrill who’s territory was invaded. Andre tried to calm down Sherry and whispered comforting reassuring words to the electric type, but it didn't look like it did anything. The Electrike still looked like she was out for blood. In truth though Andre was getting to Sherry's level of being fed up. This act of being weak, while entertaining at first was starting to feel painful for Andre to keep up. It made him sick to his stomach, but it was a setup that he couldn't afford to abandon just yet since he was planning on making this woman and her pet dragon just as uncomfortable as he was. And if he had extra cards to use before his size and rough demeanor then he was going to play them before they got stale.

Mi Jin couldn't help the smirk of satisfaction that slipped across her currently unpainted lips at the look of astonishment on the man's face. She loved making an impression. Once he was half beached, the Drampa stretched his neck out and laid his head in the sand, providing a path from his shoulder to the damp sand. The woman strolled along the dragon and stepped onto the beach. A thigh sheath holding a blade with a bejeweled handle would be just visible under the higher part of her sarong. Closer, it would be easier to see her parts of her tanned skin was covered in tattoos, the most notable of which a Seviper slithering up her left arm and resting its head just above her collar bone. She had a collection of bracelets, rings, and anklets; some as simple as braided cloth or hair with beads while others shined in the moonlight.

The man still seemed suitably frightened, what with his babbling, but his canine partner obviously had worse survival instincts. She shrugged her thin shoulders, looking un-bothered by the irate Elecktrike. "So what if I did? Toughen up that mutt and it wouldn't have been a problem." She retorted, stretching lazily. Mi Jin brought her hand down to rest on Jeong's head, who had worked his way out of the water so he was just behind her. The woman sighed. "But, if you feel I've really wronged your Pokemon, we can settle it the old fashion way." Mi Jin slipped her fingers into her top and produced a ping-ball sized pokeball held between her pointer and middle digits. "Win, and you'll get a formal apology." She rolled the ball about her fingers nimbly, eyes gleaming at the prospect of a fight. "And if I win, I'll take the usual bounty." The specialist added, meaning she'd take what cash he had to offer. He seemed such a push over, why not put out ridiculously unfair stakes?

Jeong kept his expression neutral, though his eyes stayed on the two. His nostrils flared, taking in the surrounding scents. The Drampa found it suspicious that there was no fear scent on the air from the human, so he was not convinced of this man's act. Jeong felt little need to inform Mi Jin, since she wasn't making any risky moves based on this false information, but he was watching.

It didn't seem possible to the Poacher, but the pirate's words of indifference struck a rather hard cord with his Electrike and made her even angrier. The electric type got so upset that she started to emit sparks. Andre flinched and was forced to let go after a few seconds of static contact. Sherry then proceeded to make a dash towards Mi Jin at full speed with a tackle attack. The green canine leapt and aimed directly at her smug face. It could have potentially hit her had a loud click, followed by a beam of light not struck the Electrike first and forced her to retreat back into her Pokeball.

A slight breeze blew by in the midst of the showering rain as Andre lowered the ball, wearing a horrified expression on his face. Now that he had a closer look at the dragon tamer, the sense of danger he felt earlier magnified. It took a bit of mental digging but now he recognized the shrimp standing before him. Thanks to the Seviper tattoo on the lady's arm and the blade, he recognized her as a member of the pirate group that had been frequenting Piscari for a while. Andre heard whisperings from some of the locals that they were a team of specialists who had the potential to make waves in the community. They could prove to be a formidable force if provoked. Even worse, their leader Madam Seviper was rumored to have powers of the mystical persuasion. Confident as he was in his own abilities, he was still only one person. Where as they were many. From what his memory could discern when he saw her around town, she rarely traveled alone... Usually she was with one or two of her crewmates. Where were they? Hiding somewhere around here? Had he been ensnared in their net like a common magikarp? No. Andre was no base prey. His survival instincts tried to reason with him in saying that messing with her would lead to some trouble down the line. But every other part of him was screaming to stand tall and not fold like the weakling he’d been portraying. Especially since she injured and insulted his Pokemon. He'd be playing a dangerous game, but what's life without a little spice?

"I-I'm so-so-so s-ss-s-sorry. S-She’s n-not… Always like tha… Like thaha..." the poacher began, but cut himself off as he snorted and started to laugh. The Poacher ran his free hand through his soaked blond hair as he continued to bust a gut. "I c-can't. I just can't. Nope. Can't do it anymore. It's just too much.." Andre said in between chortles as he lowered his hand and looked up to the duo. On his face was a cocky smirk. "I really had you going there for a moment didn't I? What, you eat some wingullible soup for dinner before taking a dip or something?" Andre spat as he stood up with confidence and stretched, revealing his considerable bulk and height in the process. Compared to Mi Jin's dexterous frame, Andre sported a build of strength, one that towered over her as he cracked his knuckles after pocketing Sherry's ball.

"I'll admit, you've got guts for proposing such a daring deal. I admire your dedication to stepping on the little guy." Andre stated as he gave a thumbs up. "But I won't need an apology when my Sherry wipes the floor with your Pokemon. She won't even need to resort to sneak attacks like you did." He claimed, turning that thumbs up into a thumbs down. "Still, I’d be more than happy to give you a fight if that’s what you’re looking for. But let's make a change in the stakes. If I win, you're gonna be the one who has to cough up the dough. Unless you're too torchicken for the challenge now that you're not dealing with a total wimp?" the poacher asked mockingly. The grunt knew he was pressing too many buttons at once, but now that he tossed away the facade he felt it fitting to stomp out any perceived weakness she might have thought he had before.

Andre then retrieved his partner's ball and released her again. She still looked very angry and growled at Mi Jin, ready to lunge at the pirate a second time. "Now now Sherry, settle down. I know you're still pissed, but it looks like we've got that training we've wanted for later now. You're gonna be fighting the mean lady's Pokemon." Andre explained as Sherry leered at Mi Jin with a look of hatred in her eyes before turning her attention to Jeong and licked her lips. "No Sherry, not that one. Unless you do want to start the battle with your buddy over there?” Andre questioned with a casual tone.

“Well, what do you say lady? C’mon… Don’t leave me hanging.”

Mi Jin's eyes widened, not so much from shock at the canine's aggression, but in more of a disbelieving manner--the mutt either had some chops or was rabid and thus, delirious. She held her ground when the electric type launched forward, hearing the rising snarl from the Drampa at her shoulder. His lips pulled back, the rather harmless furry face transforming as large fangs were revealed. The corded fur from his head quivered as he coiled his long neck, preparing to lunge forward and snap at the Electrike if it got to close. Luckily for the electric type, the human was fast enough with his recall. The dragon type snorted through his nostrils in the man's direction, expressing his annoyance.

One of the petite woman's brows arched as the stuttering man dissolved into laughter. Had the pressure and fear caused him to crack or had he already been mental before she found him? Things became more clear as he straightened and regained his composure. The woman looked purposefully unimpressed with his transformation, like a mother who isn't amused by a child's antics--he thought he was hot stuff, didn't he? "Not bad. Laid it on a little thick." She critiqued, mentally reminding herself to smack Jeong for not filling her in--she knew the Drampa had to know. What was the point of being able to understand one another if he didn't talk to her? "Try pissing yourself next time. That'll really sell it."

The woman shrugged unapologetically and was a bit thankful he wasn't a Celebi-damned 'good guy.' She got real tired of their lecturing. Their pelts were similar, even if one was spotted while the other was striped--they were both hunters. She watched as he went through the motion of turning his thumbs up into a thumbs down, wondering just how often he'd practiced that in front of mirror. Her smirk returned and broadened as he spoke. "I have nothing against fair stakes, you were the one prostrating yourself like a victim, how else was I suppose to treat you?"

The spark of eagerness flashed through her dark eyes as he released his Pokemon, who she waved sweetly at. The Pokeball danced through her nimble fingers while he conversed with his canine, but once it was clear he was done and waiting, she expanded the ball and tossed it up to release Su-Bin. The Bagon's eyes immediately found the Electrike once the light was gone. She snorted and scratched at the sand as if she were preparing to charge. Mi Jin didn't wait long before taking the initiative to have the first attack. "Heat things up, Su-Bin." The dragon type reared back, inhaling deeply through her nostrils before spitting a ball of fire at her opponent.

"You said yourself you never know what might be lurkin in the waters. All I did was cast a type of bait to see what would bite. And clearly you took the bait." Andre shot back, his confidence not even dented from the dragon tamer's attempts to demoralize him. It would take much more than what indifference and attempts at insulting his plan to keep the grunt down for long. She didn't seem to recognize him which was good, though by the end of this he'd certainly make sure to leave a mark. After all the poacher didn’t want to be bottom feebas forever. When the pirate released the Bagon Andre clicked his tongue and studied the creature. It was certainly more ferocious in spirit than that overgrown sea lion or whatever that dragon was who shot a bothered look at him before. With it being two against one however Andre dubbed poaching from this chick a no go. He'd simply have to play along and see what would happen. When the Bagon blasted the ball of fire, Andre smiled. "Sherry, show them what we do to enemies who try to play it safe." Andre said with a tone that was far more calm than any other chatter he made so far.

Sherry nodded to her trainer's order and started to dart towards the Bagon in a zig zag pattern. When the ember attack came close, Sherry kept moving, letting a part of the attack nick her in the side as she started charging up and radiating sparks. She continued to close the gap between the her and the dragon, eyes glinting with her prey in sight. Once she was but a few paces away Sherry let out a loud bark, and unleashed a thunder wave at Su-Bin, fully intending to break the rock headed creature piece by piece in this battle they were waging on one another.

Mi Jin simply lifted a brow at her 'taking the bait'--well, she supposed she had, but she would hardly consider this any sort of con. Honestly, how dense could you be? Was it seriously his intention to get some wild Pokemon's attention by throwing rocks? Didn't he know about the massive Tentacruel in these waters? She'd let it slide for now, no sense in warning him--he could get drowned for all she cared.

It was true she was playing it a little safe, not doing her usual tactic, because of the fact they were fighting an electric type. She wasn't sure of the Pokemon's ability, but she'd learn a while ago to be careful with physical attacks. Once the wave of electricity hit, the caution would be moot. They could try to dodge, but it wasn't really Mi Jin's, or dragon's, style. The Bagon stood her ground, her resistance to electricity dimming any concern some other Pokemon might have at taking the attack full force. Her muscles twitched and jerked, but there wasn't any pain. "Push through it, Su-Bin, and let's get worked up." Mi Jin encouraged her Pokemon. The dragon type snorted, shaking herself a bit to try and clear her body of the tingling, before launching herself further. Her dark eyes blazed with ferocity and rage.

Andre smiled when he noticed that Mi Jin wasn't snapping back with any retorts. To him, it was a small victory already. The words he conveyed that left her silent were more or less just a way of relaying what he did in response to see what was out there once he and Sherry knew they weren't alone. He didn't know it'd be a person. It was a dumb idea in hindsight, even if it could've been a wild Pokemon he wanted to have fun with it. The bit with throwing rocks just being a way to entertain himself, though now that he thought about it maybe that too was a poor choice. Oh well. He couldn't take back what he did, and would just have to roll with the punches. Andre wouldn't think much more on the subject as he observed the battle taking place. So the thunder wave connected? This was good. The first part taken care of well enough. When the Su-Bin decided to attack Sherry with something more physical Andre did nothing. Nothing but take out a pack of gum and pop a piece into his mouth. He watched as the dragon beat his canine companion, chewing as though it were a lazy sunday morning. "C'mon Sherry. You can do better than that." Andre commented flatly as he blew a bubble with the gum and let it pop.

From an outsider's perspective this could be seen as Andre just being a poor trainer. The truth was however Andre had already relayed orders with his initial silence to Sherry. That order being to go about this her way until further notice. The Electrike wanted more than just to win. She wanted to destroy her opponent. To do that though she'd need to chip away at her in more ways than one. So she took the brunt of the rage attack, and when she heard the trainer's bubble gum pop the green canine took it as a signal to take a shot at the Bagon. "Electrike trike electrike... Trike trike electrike?" The Electrike taunted from underneath the Bagon as she glared up at her with glowing blue eyes and launched a leer at the angry dragon.

Mi Jin ignored the man's silent gloating over his perceived victory of not getting a response from her. Why would she dignify that with a response? Besides, now was not the time for banter, it was time for battle. She above shooting the breath during a fight, but the pirate generally preferred to focus, especially when there were things at stake. The asshole was chewy bubblegum--how much more of a prat could he make himself look? The only thing that could have been worse was if he was eating an apple. The woman's eyes narrowed as she watched the Electrike's response. Either he was a lazy trainer, or he knew plenty about Su-Bin's rage. Well, a third option would be this was his regular tactic. It wasn't a bad one and it would certainly put a stop to her usual strategy.

Su-Bin pushed through to attack, despite the jumping electricity in her muscles that were trying to make her seize up. In response to her physical assault, the canine started taunting her. She could see the blood lust in her opponents eyes, so was she just glaring at her? The Bagon snorted and huffed, readying to continue with her rage attack when Mi Jin called out. "Light that mutt up." The dragon responded immediately, shoving off the sand and sending up a spray of it to keep some distance as she gathered her flame before spatting it at Sherry.

As the battle waged on, Andre took notice of Sherry's current position in their bout with the pirate and dragon. She hadn't yet actually landed a solid hit in. They were losing! Sure, they had set up pretty well with the thunder wave and leer attack--but the effects of paralysis didn't seem to have kicked in yet. At the mention of lighting his mutt up, Andre considered getting Sherry to dodge the incoming attack as a method of wearing the dragon down further... But if the Electrike couldn't dodge, that would only give their opponent a more clear advantage. They needed to go on the offensive, now. "Enough playing around Sherry! Attack now!" Andre ordered as he pointed at the Bagon. "Show your opponent what you're made of!"

Sherry barked once in acknowledgement and leapt back to keep the spray of sand in Su-bin's maneuvering from pelting her. Once the way was clear, she then proceeded to charge forward at full speed towards Su-bin and the incoming ember attack. Unfortunately the electric type was too stubborn to even try dodging this time, taking the ember head on. Sherry could feel the searing pain of the flames envelope her body, but her eyes remained on the prize. What started as a cry of pain gradually pumped up into a vicious battle cry. The Electrike pushed through the ember attack and launched herself at the dragon type head first in an attempt to collide into her with a tackle attack.

Mi Jin was proud of her little Bagon--despite having gotten inflicted with potentially paralyzing electricity, her Pokemon had managed to fight it off so far. The Pirate knew it was only a matter of time, but she was a gambler, so it did play to the risk taking side of her. With greater risk came greater reward. With the electric type finally on the attack, the petite woman weighed her options. She could have Su-Bin start Rage again, but if she was interrupted by the paralysis, her progress would be lost. No. That gamble wasn't worth it. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear that the insistent chilly wind whipped across her face and remained silent.

Su-Bin grunted slightly at the contact, digging her claws into the sand to keep herself from being pushed back too far. With no further instruction from Mi Jin, she knew she was suppose to keep doing what her last order was. So, she inhaled through her nostrils, stoking the flame in her belly before regurgitating it back up and straight into the canine's snarling face. She could feel her blood lust working higher as the injuries accumulated on her opponent. The Electrike wouldn't be able to stand too much more. This battle was in the bag, so long as she manged to fight through the twitching in her muscles.

"Atta girl Sherry! You got this!" Andre cheered as he watched the Electrike successfully nail her tackle attack on the Bagon. A good step forward, but the battle wasn't over just yet. Andre took a moment to blow another bubble after some ravenous chewing, wondering how many additional hits they would have to score to seal the deal. He felt confident they could win this bout if the paralysis were to kick in more often, but nothing was ever set in stone. When he saw that the Bagon was prepping for another attack, he frowned. An ember attack at that range could prove to be devastating, and he didn't want her to get too injured in the event that the pirate would pit her ride against the Electrike. Before he could relay the order to dodge however the Bagon's frame started to emit sparks. Bigger ones than what he saw from dragon type in resisting the thunder wave so far, which could only mean one thing. The hunter sneered as he kept his mouth shut and resigned himself to enjoy the show.

Sherry stared up at the building fireball charging above her head, giving the Bagon a cold hateful glare before hopping back several paces to minimize the impact of the ember and ready another attack. She would make sure her owner's praise didn't fall short. Fortunately she was able to do this without much difficulty due to the thunder wave starting to wash over her opponent. So the technique finally took effect, did it? With a malicious glint in her eye, the Electrike backed up a few more paces before propelling forward with another tackle, this one aiming to knock right at the Bagon's face to respond in kind from the dragon type's own head shot.

Mi Jin was mentally calculating in her head, figuring that two, maybe three more embers and the bout would be theirs. Her full attention was brought back to her Bagon when the growing ball of fire in her mouth went out as Su-Bin clamped her jaws shut and her body went rigid. The sparks grew and arched over her blue body, her muscles twitching from the current growing stronger and coursing through. The pirate frowned, her brows drawing together. Well, shit. She thought, her folded arms dropping to her side. Despite the chilled wind grabbing at the hem of her sarong and dark hair, she was feeling the cold even less now than before, as her blood rushed with the uncertainty of the battle. They were almost back on even footing, as far as injuries were concerned--she would be at the disadvantage if the paralysis hit again.

"Keep it up, Su-Bin." Her voice was half encouraging and half an order. The dragon type shook herself as soon as the electricity relinquished enough of her muscles for her to do so. She scraped at the sand angrily, but she was able to brace herself, lowering her head for the Electrike. If she wanted to go up against her rock hard head, she was welcome to. Her head still lowered, she pooled the flame again, ready to snap back up and blast the mutt back.
