WELCOME TO PISCARI TOWN
LOCAL INFORMATION
Local Pokémon: Hawlucha Tyrogue Rattata Meowth Aipom
Rife with poachers, illegal Pokémon fighting rings, and other shady goings-on, Piscari is home to a rough-and-tumble crew of half wild, half domesticated Pokémon. Running in packs, Rattatas and Aipoms are known to steal food from vendors in the markets, while Meowths manage to procure spare fish heads and the like through their charm. Piscari's official bird is Hawlucha.
A rural fishing village occupied by fishmongers and fishermen, subsisting mostly on a diet of, you guessed it: water-type Pokémon. Trainers are few and far between, with not a gym leader in sight. Black-market trading and unlicensed fighting are popular among those who do wander through, generally on their way to the less seedy town of Okeanos. The drug trade is also rampant in Piscari, with many of its fighters in human fighting rings being addicted to heroin or cocaine. Rangers are often treated with suspicion and disrespect, while poachers are welcomed among the ranks. Piscari's dialect and population mixes Japanese and Hawaiian influences, resulting in an almost entirely new pattern of speech, and a tendency for natives to be named in either style.

TW: Smuggling, Violence

Ah, Piscari. The classiest armpit society had to offer. Sinead honestly didn't mind it. Piscari was the kind of place you could trust. You could trust it to be the grungiest, ugliest, stinking heap on a harbor ever to exist. You could also trust Black Market booze smuggled from other regions to be cheap. Of course, none of that was confirmed. But Sinead had been around the block a time or two back when she was younger and more stupid and very willing to plunge her hand into the greedy, grunge of the port town.

Sin leaned against the dock post as she watched the ship unload crates. She'd beat the shipment by an hour and had entertained herself by taking a load of in a nearby bar. It was far more entertaining than she thought it would be when she cleaned out a group of bikers with a royal flush. The boys hadn't even seen it coming, for she'd played them hook, line, and sinker as the frail, uncertain player who was in over her head.

There had been a mix of guffaws and curses, though the was an underlying feeling of awe by the seasoned players to be taken at their own game. 'Don't feel bad,' she'd told them all. 'Been doing this since I was twelve.'

Beside her, Fionn grumped. "Can't we just make the sailors load it for us? You just won all that money..."

"Don't be a baby," she admonished with amusement.

"I just don't see why we ca-SIN!"

The Flaaffy's warning came a second too late. Sinead turned just in time for the sucker punch to catch her right on the cheek. The knock was hard enough to nearly send her to the ground, but she stumbled and caught herself. The specialist tasted blood and saw red.

"Sonofa-" Before she could retaliate, one of the bikers she'd beaten in the card game ripped her arms behind her back and presented her to his cohort like a sand bag ready for pounding. Sinead was short, but she was no pushover. Despite the screaming of her cheek and the puffiness already swelling below her right eye, the woman let the man behind her hold her weight as she lifted both feet off the ground and kicked at her attacker's face with brutal accuracy. Fionn, moving to protect his trainer, used Thunder Wave to paralyze the man before tackling him with enough force to send him right off the dock and into the murky Piscari waters.

"Can't handle being bested fair and square, ya thick scut?" she asked, words thickening with infuriated brogue. Since the bruiser's nose was so helpfully against the back of her head by the way he was now lifting her off her feet, Sinead tossed it back efficiently, cursing at the sharp pain that accompanied being dropped as he crumpled to the dock.

The scuffle was nothing new to the dock workers of Piscari. Crates continued to be unloaded, though a few of the sailors paused long enough to offer whoops of approval when they saw the whip of a woman take down two men easily twice her size. Sinead glared down at the man now swiping blood from under his ugly, now crooked nose.

"You wanna go again?" she demanded, signaling for Fionn to watch her back in case his friends came calling. Pressing the back of her hand to her throbbing cheek, Sinead opened her mouth wide to test her jaw and ensure it was still completely in working order before lifting her fists in front of her in challenge.

Meanwhile, his buddy slapped a hand on the dock and pulled himself up with a snarl. Ah, bollocks. "I'll take ya both, then."

Kaelen should have known better than to make a bet with a known liar, but he'd gotten cocky. He was sure he would notice when the man cheated, but he either he had missed when it happened or the man had the devil's own luck. By the smug look on the bastard's face, he would guess he'd just hadn't seen the slight of hand. He had no proof and a deal was a deal. So here he was on the docks, helping unload a shipment of only Arceus knew what.

"Last I checked, you lost the bet. So, why I am the one working while you stand there regretting your overconfidence?" Edite asked dryly, earning her trainer's attention from where he'd been staring off into space over the water. His answering smile was a touch sheepish. "Don't get your tail in a knot, I'm working plenty." His statement was quite true. While he wasn't the only worker on the dock in good condition, he didn't have to do this every day, so he didn't need to conserve his energy like the rest of them.

The dark-haired fighter was just turning to shift another crate when he noticed that the others had stopped and were gathering in a group. They seemed to be looking at something of interest. It was about then he heard a loud splash--a sound that couldn't be anything other than someone hitting the water--just as the collected group released an appreciated 'ooohh' in unison. Well, it sounded like he was missing a fight. Quick strides had him moving around the dock-workers to get a view of the action.

Brows arched as dark eyes found their way onto the form of a petite woman being held from behind. He knew what she was going to do just before she did so and he shook his head while mentally calling the guy a dumb bastard. While Kael was one to step in a woman's behalf, it was only in cases where she seemed like she wanted help. This little spitfire was doing just fine. For now, why not enjoy the display?

His lips curved from a smirk into a frown when the guy she'd knocked into the water dragged himself back out. She still seemed ready to rumble, but he doubted she saw the glint of the blade in the soaked man's hand. Two against one was toeing the line, a deadly weapon was leaping over it. Kael half stepped half jumped from the boat, landing with more force than necessary to be accompanied by a resounding echo from the wooden dock. "I don't mind being a spectator--it's quite the delightful show--but I'm really more of a player." He nodded his head toward scumbag who'd taken the surprise dip and gestured lazily for him to come on.

The man's rimmed eyes flicked up and down Kaelen's form, the well-developed muscles of his arms and torso impossible to miss in his tank top. "Stay out of this dick, this doesn't concern you." He shifted a step back from the larger fighter, but he brought the knife up in preparation. Kael's lips spread into a smirk. "Guess it's a good thing I don't give a fuck if it concerns me." He commented with a light shrug of his large shoulders before snapping forward in a sudden attack. Disarming the guy was easy enough, just grab the wrist and jerk the arm up the follow through with a hit to his chest solid enough to knock the wind from him and the weapon was clattering to the floor before slipping through the planks and into the water with a 'plop'.

Wrist still in a crushing hold, Kael yanked the limb around into a painful angle behind him, his grip the only thing keeping the man standing. Practically incapacitated, the specialist turned his dark eyes to the kick-ass woman and her own opponent. Edite had joined Kael on the dock, moving silently like always. If it was needed, the Passimian could assist the vixen or--better yet--sit on this punk while Kael stepped in. But he got the feeling his interference wouldn't be any more needed or welcomed beyond what he'd done already.

Normally with these sorts of assholes, Sinead would have had Fionn paralyze them and go on her merry way, but her face was burning fiercely and she could still taste blood rolling around her tongue from where she bit the inside of her cheek. Without a doubt, she'd be sported a black eye by the evening, and damn it all, those were hard to hide even if she did have more experience than most with covering them up. It was with that knowledge and the sting of pain that the specialist knew she wanted to hurt them back tenfold. She could either do it in style or she could go straight to Krav Maga street style and really put the hurt on them.

Before she could even really get going, one of the workers unloading the ship right off the dock - probably her very own shipment - leapt down onto the floating dock with enough force to send it rocking. Experienced enough with her sea legs to keep her footing, Sinead found herself leveling back a bit. Two against one was fine, but three? Even for her, that was pushing it, and this guy's ropy muscles looked far more toned and trained than the others despite their intimidating sizes.

Her misgivings were quickly put to rest when he gave a cocky come-on to the dripping asshole Fionn had tackled into the water. Basic female appreciation thrummed. This man was waaaay her style. Too much her style. Tall, dark, dangerous, delectable. A cautionary tale if ever she saw one.

The biggest shame was that she couldn't spend her time watching him. She did, however, see the flash of silver and heard the knife as it clattered on the dock before falling into the water below.

Offense shot through her, only fueling the fire of her rage. Sinead blocked her opponent's punch from the inside out with a fierce strike with her forearm, dipping down immediately in anticipation for the second throw. "You slimy bastard!" she snarled over at the dripping man who was practically sobbing for release from the very effective grip that Tall, Dark, and Dangerous had on him.

From her dropped position, Sinead went for mean and hammered her arm up towards her opponent's nethers, satisfied by the keening yell. "You'd bring a knife to a fist fight with an unarmed woman over a measly two hundred bucks you lost fair and square?!" She bent to the side as the man before her tried to recover with a vicious kick. Letting his momentum work in her favor, she grabbed his calf and stood, letting his weight carry him all the way over onto his back and further stretching the tender region between his legs. "What a bunch of pussies!" she snapped irritably.

Not knowing when to quit, her now full on rage-pain-crying-man-baby made to kick out at her again. The execution was poor enough that Sinead need only use her boot to force his leg higher, higher, higher until he carried it over himself and rolled right into the water. This man was far more worried about drowning that the one that had brought out the knife, but Sinead still told Fionn, "Thunder Wave that fucker if he tries again," just as added insurance.

And since Mr. Knife-to-a-Fist-Fight was so helpfully presented to her, Sinead stormed over to kick him hard enough in the testicles that after a moment of tension, he went limp in the dock worker's grip. If he could produce children ever again, she'd be surprised, and didn't feel a lick of remorse for it.

"Piece of shit," she snarled, though her victim could no longer hear her in his current unconscious state. Her gaze, sharp as the knife that had been intended for her, slashed towards Tall, Dark, and Dangerous before turning appraising. She was distracted momentarily by the explosive guffaws and laughter from the sailors who'd gathered around to watch and managed a thin smile before giving an exaggerated bow to the peanut gallery.

Only after some of it abated did she look back to the stranger. So dangerous. And really, not fair. All sweaty with his shirt sticking to him in ways that never failed to get her going. It was always the dark hair, she noted with some measure of irritation. So soon after the fight, Sinead wondered if this was what Fionn felt like when too much excess charge built up along his fleece. She felt like she was sparking all over and in full primal mode of either fight or fuck. Honestly, she could picture both going over so very well with this one.

Instead of giving in to any urge her body craved, the specialist actually lifted a hand with her palm facing him before taking a step back. Protecting him or herself, she couldn't decide. Both, probably.

Nodding her head more to herself than anything, she shrugged in acceptance. He hadn't asked to get involved. He'd simply taken it upon himself. So she couldn't really get angry with his interference and, honestly, she hadn't expected the knife.

"Thanks for your help." Though she did intend it genuinely, her tone was still coated with anger. Hearing it herself, she forced herself to take a breath. Get it together, Sin.

From behind her, Fionn bleated with amusement. "Wishing you were in your office right now?"

Cheeky brat.

"Really," she assured. "Sinead MacKenna," she introduced, stepping close enough to offer her hand. She nodded to the boat behind him. "Think you were helping unload my shipment," she admitted. It took some amount of restraint to keep her eyes from roaming. Handily enough, however, his face was pretty nice to look at, too. "I suppose I owe you a drink for the trouble."

The rage built in the woman's form when she realized the guy had intended to use a weapon and Kael didn't blame her one bit. It was always a buzz kill to be enjoying a bare-knuckle bawl only to have someone change the dynamic. The fire in the woman's eyes struck a familiar core with the specialist, his blood rushing a little faster as he watched her make quick work of her opponent. He'd managed not wince in sympathy over the first set of balls she busted, but after helping the downed man into the water and strolling over to his captive douche bag, he cringed at the audible crack. He didn't look any less appreciative of her move, even if he knew how much that must of hurt.

Now he was truly the only thing holding the guy up, a task he no longer felt inclined to do, so he released his grip to send him collapsing to the ground in an unconscious heap. Cool eyes found the woman's fiery ones and he felt himself looking into mirror from years previous. He could see the struggle between wanting to tear into him or wanting to rip his clothes off and he felt of startling level of companionship with this stranger. A smirk curved the corner of his mouth, his expression relaying that he wouldn't mind either activity--or maybe both. He was certain she'd was as much of a firecracker between the sheets as she was in this fight.

Kael waited for her to make a move, tip the scale one way or the other, while trying to chill his own heated blood at the possible prospects. When she held up a hand--giving herself a moment to reign her desires in--he bowed his head a bit in acceptance. It was a shame, but he trusted her to know her own limits. The fighter did not take offense to the angry edge to her voice since he knew it wasn't directed at him. Kael took her hand in a firm grip--not a crushing one, but hard enough to display the strength in them. "Kaelen Sosa and it's an absolute pleasure." He practically purred, one lid sliding easily into a wink.

He glanced back toward the indicated shipment. "Oh? My lucky day then. I'm just standing in for someone else." The specialist was no longer regretting getting tricked into the taking the job. While she showed restraint in not checking him out, Kael took the opportunity to do so properly. He rolled his muscle-lined shoulders in a shrug. "The fight was repayment enough. But I wouldn't say no to your company if you're so inclined." He tilted his head and smiled in the way he knew to be charming and enticing to most people--time to see how well it worked on this firebrand.

Edite crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, the long suffering monkey use to Kael's shenanigans by now. At least she would be there to watch his back and he was good about repaying her efforts and patience with peanuts.

"You're in trouble," Fionn remarked with amusement, though without the same concern he'd exhibited when she'd been sucker punched. It was a different sort of trouble the Flaaffy knew his trainer couldn't seem to resist. While she didn't rise to her pokemon's bait, she did slide her eyes back towards him, the annoyance clear. Fionn only grinned.

She really couldn't argue. This man was trouble with a capital T. Capital all the other letters, too. And they had worked together so well... Sinead had barely spared a glance for the unconscious man he let drop to the ground, captivated instead by the easy smirk. Arceus, he was probably a dick. One of those conceited assholes who couldn't see past his own nose. That was always the way of it. But then he purred like a Persian and she knew she was more than in trouble; she was a goner.

"Guess that means it was really my lucky day, then. It's not the first fight I've had on these docks, but the first one of the workers has bothered to intervene with. That was smooth work with that knife," she commented, appreciative of the skill as much as the art in motion.

He was just as interested. Really, it was a testament to her strength of will she didn't just jump him right here. Her mind wandered, coming up with all sorts of alternative places instead. Sinead's lips curled into a smile in response. Kaelen knew how to work his assets without effort - and all that without even getting into his pants. He dripped sex appeal in a way that made her want to lick it right off what were no doubt chiseled abs.

While his trainer was struggling to form coherent thoughts, the Flaaffy eased around the pair of them with the danger now passed to introduce himself to the Passimian. "Hiya. I'm Fionn. We appreciate your trainer's help," he said with a kind smile, seemingly unbothered by the scene behind him.

From up on the boat, a man large of girth and stout of build beat a meaty hand on the side of the rust bucket he stood on. "'Ay! You ain't getting paid to flirt with the customers!"

With the anger from the fight wearing off, Sinead found herself grinning. "I've got some crates of my own to load up. Find me when you're done?" she asked, sliding closer. Arceus, he was tall. That was completely unfair, but it didn't deter her in the least. Boldly, Sinead curled her fingers into his shirt front and pulled him down so she could breeze a teasing kiss across his lips. The barest taste she got of him had her immediately hungering for more, but she pulled back. "Thanks again for the help," she murmured before forcing herself to turn away.

"Fionn, you gonna help?" she called over her shoulder with a knowing smile. The Flaaffy was quick to offer his apologies and scamper back across the docks. He leaped over the unconscious man and resisted the urge to kick him on his way, but imagined his trainer had given him more than enough pain already.

Edite's eyes shifted between the Flaafy and his trainer, lips pressed into a line to suppress a smirk. The electric type had no idea. This was not an uncommon occurrence with Kael--not that the man meant any harm. He was mostly looking to have a good time and give a good time, but it was normal for him to be almost overwhelming for the sensual women he sought out. The Passimian liked this pair so far.

Kaelen had been doing this dance for a long time--longer than his mother liked to hear about--and it was just as much of an art as it was natural talent. It was his practice that let him know the moment she'd tipped over from interested to goal acquired. Primal pride unfurled in his broad chest, but his kept his expression playful, not sure how she would react if he let it known that he knew. Games were more fun anyway. He gave a little bow to her compliment of his skills. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sorry I couldn't put on more of a show, I feel like I fell short compared to the treat you gave me." His tone implied he would be happy to make up the difference.

The fighting type bowed her head politely. "Pleasure. I'm Edite. And trust me, he was dying to join." She snorted softly, eyes travelling to the pair. She hoped that Fionn was not opposed to spending some time with her. It looked like it was at least going to be one long night. Shee nodded her head toward Sin. "Is this typical or...?" She asked out of pure curiosity. The Passismian hoped it was, it was a smaller chance of leading to an infatuated--and then broken--heart later.

Kael's dark eyes flicked to the head dock-hand, barely managing not to roll them. Was he even getting paid? He wasn't even sure. He just knew he was taking that little cheating shit's shift. He gave a half wave of confirmation, but his attention was again ensnared by the vixen in front of him as she slipped closer. He quirked a surprise brow when her finger hooked the cotton of his tank top, but obliged in leaning down as she tugged. His eyes stayed open, watching her own as she brushed his lips with hers. A tingle traveled down his spine and hovered around his stomach while a little heat rose in his skin.

Hot damn. Looked like she enjoyed games, too. He barely managed not to slip one hand around her neck and the other grab her hip to pull her fully against him. His tongue flicked out over his lower lip as she pulled back, tasting the spice she left there. He rocked back on his feet to his full height, slipping his thumbs into his jean pockets. He wanted to say 'no need to thank me', but he really wanted her showing her appreciation. "Anytime." As she turned to saunter off, his eyes trailed down her back to enjoy the swing of those delicious hips. Arceus, was he looking forward to later. Another exasperated shout from the ship had Kael sighing and turning away, however reluctantly.

The faster they got this damned ship unloaded and reloaded, the faster he could rendezvous with Sinead. He bumped Edite's shoulder affectionately with his own as he passed her before leaping back onto the ship. If the men thought Kael was moving before, it was nothing compared to him now. By the time he was done, his white top was thoroughly clinging to him and he found himself hoping she didn't mind the sweat. He didn't exactly have easy access to a shower here if he wasn't fighting in the pits.

Kael stepped off of the boat and onto the floating dock, landing with more grace than he'd done previously, and eyes swept for the location of the teasing Sinead or her companion.

Sinead found herself wondering how it wasn't illegal to be that attractive. Because, really? Who could form half a coherent thought with someone like that around? With a pause, she considered. She didn't mind half coherent thoughts. She felt her best when she was in such a state. In fact, she found herself wishing she was able to enter that state right here, right now.

But as bold as she was, even she wasn't keen on half of Piscari getting a free show.

"I'm sure you'll find ways to make up the difference later," the specialist purred, absolutely delighted with this turn of events. A good old fashioned brawl turned pre-game was the best way to spend a normally boring day reserved for driving to pick up goods.

While the pair traded their forms of niceties, Fionn turned until he stood almost shoulder to shoulder with Edite to observe their trainers. At her curious question, the Flaaffy snorted. "Oh, yes," he assured, shaking his head at Sinead with exasperation. However, the sheep seemed as equally surprised as Kaelen when his trainer tugged the man down for a kiss. "Not usually...like that." Fast, sure. But Fionn had never seen her quite so intense before. Was it really just because the last time was interrupted or was it something specific about this person? Whatever it was, she seemed pleased with herself and happy, so that was all that really mattered to him.

"Oh, I better go. See you later!"

As Kaelen and the crew worked to offload their ship, Sinead and Fionn set to work with loading her own crates in the back of her truck. Bottles rattled together within, but she was glad to note there didn't seem to be any evidence of breakage. This crew, at least, was more decent than the past few she'd dealt with. Those bastards would sling her shit around with such force that she lost a quarter of her purchase. While the captain at the time had made it right, Sinead simply hadn't bothered trusting him with her cargo again.

With fewer crates than the crew had, Sinead had finished well before Kaelen and rewarded herself by picking out a great vantage point where she could simply enjoy watching him. The speed and precision with which he moved only assured her he was anticipating what came next just as much.

Perched on the gunwale of one of the smaller boats in the marina that had seen better days, Sinead absently chewed at a knuckle while she watched him hop down and look for her. She didn't call attention to herself and simply waited for him to see her. Once he did, her lips curled up into a smile and she hopped down from her perch to head back to her truck. If he was smart, he'd follow along.

Fionn, preferring to not be stuck between the pair of them in the cab, hopped into the back of the truck to lounge among the crates. The Flaaffy gave a wide yawn, tired from the long trip here, the work, and the longer trip back.

"How do you feel about thunderstorms?" Sinead asked when Kaelen joined her. She was quick to put the truck into drive to keep herself from straight up jumping his bones. She had a destination in mind and it sure as hell was not near the Piscari docks.

The drive through town was one of the longest of her life, Sinead was sure. By the time they got to the straits, the storm clouds had coalesced overhead and threatened to start dumping rain at any moment. The lighting was already splitting the sky with a dazzling effect and thunder rumbled as if it, too, anticipated their arrival.

In the middle of Procella Straits away from the prying eyes and seedy nature of Piscari, any remainder of self-control was tossed to the wind. Without waiting for permission or even for the gear to fully shift into park, Sinead was across the cab and straddling his lap, lips capturing his with the heat her previous kiss had promised.

She knew what it was to be addicted. Sinead knew the danger of recreational drugs, and yet here she was falling right back into that same old trap, because without a doubt, the taste of him was as powerful as that old desire for the next hit. The hunger demanded she take, take, take until she was satisfied. And holy shit, could this man give.

Edite felt a bit reassure by the Flaafy's affirmation that this was not unusual for her trainer. It would seem that Kaelen and this woman had a lot in common. But at his amendment over his trainer's brushing kiss, the Passimian eyes widened a little in question. It wasn't normally good when someone was able to surprise their Pokemon--especially if they had a strong bond like Kael and herself. Maybe the Flaafy just didn't know this Sinead very well yet? The monkey did not look forward to the possibility of Kael breaking this one's heart. Her temper was mighty to say the least. She bowed her head in what would be a temporary farewell before following her own trainer back to work.

When Kael was done and stepped onto the dock in search for his reward, he didn't spot her immediately. Disappointment and physical frustration were just about to settle in when dark eyes landed on her lounging on a gunwale. His lips curled into a near predatory smirk--a Incineroar having found his quarry. Muscles slid under lightly tanned skin as he stalked after her to her truck. Edite fell into step next to Fionn, not wishing to be anymore trapped in the cab with the pair ravishing each other than the Flaafy. She made herself comfortable among the crates.

Kael was a bit surprised when they got into the truck and weren't immediately ripping each other's clothes off, but it seemed his companion had some other ideas. A single brow rose at her question. It was interesting to him, since he often felt that thunderstorms were an outward expression of his internal turmoil when he was younger. "I'm quite fond of them, actually."

He was a much about the atmosphere as the next guy--okay, this is a lie and he really didn't care where they did it--but the drive was near maddening. He was sure she was suffering as well, but this wasn't his idea, so why make it easier on her? Kael's hand started on her knee, just needing to touch her, but they'd never been known to behave themselves.

Finally they parked, the building tension from the storm around him echoing the pressure in his core. The clouds finally set the bolts of lightning free, but he had little attention for anything but the woman on his lap and tongue in his wanting mouth. Kael was more than happy to oblige her wants and needs and he was rather adept at working in the confined space of the truck cab for a man his size.

Meanwhile, Edite blinked up at the angry sky. Streaks of lightning were flashing across the horizon and it looked like the skies would open up any minute when the truck came to a stop. "Really? Here? Of for Arcues' sake." Fionn didn't looked at all surprised. The Passimian looked around, spotting an outcrop of rock that would pass for a poor shelter. "They're going to be a while, I'm not getting soaked while they indulge in carnal pleasures." She easily leaped from the truck and lopped over. She had a great deal of patience for Kael's shenanigans, but he was usually polite enough to ball her, or something. He'd hear about this later.

Temporarily satisfied, Kael collapsed back into his reclined seat, a finger twisting the hair at Sin's temple while the other digits caressed her cheek. "You certainly don't disappoint." He breathed, broad chest rising and falling with slowly easing breaths. His dark eyes squinted at her, the shadow of an amused smirk on his lips. "Just how often do you pick up more than crates at the docks?" He teased. He really didn't care if it was a common occurrence. He was curious and this felt like a prefer parking spot for her.

It was handy he was fond of storms. Handy as well that he'd been in Piscari when she was. Handy especially that he was feeling handsy. Sinead kept a tenuous grip on her control while his hand casually explored her knee, her thigh. By the time lightning struck, it had struck a chord deep within her as well. While the storm built in ferocity, so did they, going higher, higher, higher until finally cresting over the edge.

In the back of the truck, Fionn smiled apologetically as the Passimian grumped. Not wanting to be left having to listen to their trainers alone, the Flaaffy followed readily. While Edite found shelter underneath the outcrop, the sheep was more than happy to stay out in the atmosphere nearby where the charge caused static to spark from his fleece.

"My trainer specializes in electric types," he shared. "We live in Caecus, but we visit these plains a lot for fun. I like the storms. What about you guys?" Fionn asked, distracted momentarily by the first drops of rain. The sheep practically trembled with delight and gave a whoop as a gigantic bolt of lightning split the sky and thunder crashed immediately after. He bounced in place and did a quick, excited spin. "Isn't it great?!"

TW: Adult themes, implied sex

Arceus, she was doomed. The best she'd ever had in her beat to shit truck in the middle of a storm. Sinead usually compared her conquests to her best fuck. The second guy she'd ever had. Matthew. Matthew was a huge prick, but damn could he satisfy. Some men had come close to Matthew, but not like Kaelen. This man soared right on past and took up the mantle of her best. Sin was convinced she'd never find another to compare. The rest of her sex life was doomed to be a series of failures that wouldn't have a chance of living up to this one.

And yet, she couldn't find it in herself to be disappointed. Staring into eyes still dark with lust, Sinead's lips curled as she let out a breathless laugh. "Not so bad yourself, acushla." Still riding waves of pleasure, she dipped her forehead to rest lightly against his as she tried to match her breathing to his. "Best cargo I've picked up to date," she assured, managing to pull back and share a grin.

"Caecus is my stomping ground," Sinead admitted with surprising honesty. "I own a bar there. Funhouse. You should stop by some time. I do owe you a drink, after all." Piscari didn't usually harbor the type of man she'd consider. There were plenty who were dangerous, sure, but most of them weren't slick enough, and point blank just weren't attractive enough.

While the rain plopped heavy against the windshield, Sinead looked at Kaelen like a feline who'd just found the entire gallon of milk and wanted to drink the rest. "Hot in here," she murmured, reaching over to shove the door open and let in the cool of the rain. With a sly smile, she slid off his lap and out into the storm. "Want to cool off?" she invited, hazel eyes sparking with challenge while lightning flashed behind her.
